Introduction
   

Doaba College of Pharmacy (Degree) is a premier institute offering Degree in Pharmacy having an intake of 60 seats. The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
Director
 

Dr. V. J. Dhar, Director, Doaba College of Pharmacy, did his B. Pharm from Deptt Pharm Sciences, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in the year 1970, Master's degree from Deptt. Pharmacology, P.G.I., Chandigarh and Ph.d. (Pharm Sciences) from B.I.T., Ranchi. He has more than 34 years of experience and has 30 papers to his credit at National and International levels. A man know for taking initiative and accepting challenges in life, was the Founder Head, Deptt. Pharm. Sciences, University of Kashmir in the 1985 and was first to start Ph. D/M. Pharm Programmes, CII-TDB Net Centre in Pharmacy under Punjab Technical University. Recipient of Silver Medal at the University of Singapore in 1988 for best paper presentaion and has been involved in various Expert/ Technical Committees with an active role in the development of Pharmacy Education.

Admission Procedure
The admission procedure for this course is same as prescribed by Punjab Govt. and PTU, Jalandhar.
Girls Hostel & Boys Hostel
The college has created the facility for the hostel accommodation for the girls and boys separately which is fully secured and adequate for their needs.
Transport Facility
Regular transport facility is available from Chandigarh, Mohali and Ropar, throughout the year for the students and staff. The college is approved by state Govt. for issue of concessional bus passes for their students. It is also easily approachable from all adjoining areas of the nearby states as regular transportation facility is created for students within a radius of 40 Km.
 

Extra Curricular Activities

Cultural activities also form an integral part of our curriculum. For overall development of students, the institute organizes various cultural activities from time to time. The institute provides scholarship and other incentives to the meritorious students and also free special classes for the weak students. Our students not only excel in academic, but have brought laurels in sports also. We provide excellent sports facility on our campus. Our students have created history by winning medals in the inter college tournaments.
