Scholarships to encourage excellence.
The trust provides scholarships to students who display academic excellence in AIEEE/CET/LEET. The Trust has distributed more than 100 scholarships. The scholarship is an annual award and not one term payment. The students are eligible for the scholarships as long as the academic standards are maintained.
Scholarships for real brother-sister, families of Nobel Award winners and sports persons and free education for girls from single child families have been instituted.
The following scholarships are also available to students of DIET.
M. S. Batth Education Foundation Merit Scholarship
|
a)Merit scholarship of Rs.500/- per month tenable for a year to be awarded annually to the 3rd semester student who stands first in his/her class on the basis of 1st and 2nd semester result of university examination in each discipline of engg. Total four scholarships.
b)Merit scholarship of Rs. 500/- per month tenable for a year to be awarded annually to the 7th semester student who stands first in his/her class on the basis of 5th & 6th semester university examination in each of the discipline of engineering Total four scholarships.
c)Director's Prizes: Eight prizes of Rs. 1000/- each in the form of engineering books to be awarded to the students who stand first and second respectively in 2nd and 3rd year examination of each branch of engineering.
d)DIET Medals: Gold medals to be awarded to the students who stand first with honors among all candidates appearing in the university final examination of all branches.
e)DIET Chairperson's Gold Medal: The DIET Chairperson's Gold Medal will be awarded to a Graduate at the time of Annual B.Tech Convocation on the basis of his/her overall outstanding performance in all activities like academics, sports and games, cultural, technical etc., in his/her four years stay in the college. |
